🗓️ About the event
Page dedicated to the participation in the Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Astronomical Society (SAB 2025), in Caxambu (MG), from September 28 to October 2, 2025 — the largest astronomy research meeting in Latin America, with about 500 participants and more than 200 presentations.
Alongside Prof. Ana CecĂlia Soja, I brought two works: “Women in the Skies” (oral presentation, on the representation of women in the history of constellations) and “Stellar properties and chemical features of the Gaia Catalogue of Nearby Stars observed by GALAH DR4” (poster, an analysis of about 6,000 stars using Gaia data). As I put it at the time: “in a congress there’s no competition, you just want to show that you’re doing science… but in a collaborative way.”
